ANXIETY TREATMENT
Our Evidence-Based Approaches to Anxiety
At ‘A Better Tomorrow’, we address and treat anxiety utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Our comprehensive treatment model integrates these modalities to provide personalized care tailored to each individual’s needs.
In our practice, we prioritize the development of healthy coping skills, effective and empowering self-talk as well as increasing emotional distress tolerance to empower our clients in managing their anxiety. Through CBT, clients learn to identify and challenge maladaptive thought patterns, replacing them with healthier beliefs and behaviors. ACT encourages acceptance of difficult emotions and values-driven action, fostering resilience in the face of anxiety-provoking situations. We emphasize the importance of establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries, both internally and externally, to support sustainable progress and well-being.
Additionally, we utilize IFS to explore the internal dynamics of the psyche, helping clients understand and integrate different parts of themselves to cultivate inner harmony and emotional balance. Our therapy sessions provide a safe space for clients to explore and process past traumas that may be contributing to their anxiety. Through techniques such as trauma-focused CBT and narrative therapy, we work collaboratively with clients to reframe their experiences, integrate fragmented memories, and build resilience in the face of adversity. By addressing the root causes of anxiety and creating new narratives around past events, clients can gain a sense of agency and empowerment in managing their anxiety symptoms. Our holistic approach not only focuses on symptom reduction but also on fostering deeper healing and transformation for long-lasting recovery.
