Dr. Anna Quistad

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Quistad received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. She has worked at multiple residential eating disorder programs both in Boston and the Chicagoland area. Dr. Quistad specializes in working with trauma and eating disorders. She has also worked with dissociative symptoms, grief and personality disorders. Dr. Quistad feels her compassion for others continues to guide her work and is reflective in her passion to help people grow and change.

In therapy, Dr. Quistad explores how her client’s strengths can be used to deal with present difficulties that get in the way of greater health and wholeness. She finds joy walking alongside others as they journey toward a life of renewed direction. She believes there is no circumstance beyond transformation if the person is willing to do the necessary work for their unique journey. In every case, she holds the distinct challenges people face in high regard and strives to convey that respect in the therapeutic relationship.

In her spare time, Dr. Quistad enjoys creating art with mixed media, being outdoors with her two dogs, or being active with pickleball, cycling, or ultimate frisbee.
